Made from a vintage Krylon can in Portland, Oregon by artist Jake Rankin. The arm clips onto any tabletop or bookshelf surface and swivels to shed light on any situation. The on/off switch is the paint nozzle!

Light bulb included – standard 30watt flood light, easy to change.

Each lamp is custom made , just choose your color preference (anything!) after ordering and if you would like a Krylon or Montana spray paint can. For all you b-boys and b-girls. Chillin at your desk.

Analog Nights Wallpaper

Full on retro tech…

Analog Nights is a new line of wallpaper from Aimée Wilder, a New York based designer that has collaborated with Vans on shoe design among other projects.

I’ve seen pixel inspired wallpaper and even blankets as wall (or window) coverings, but there is just something so right about seeing a repeated pattern of cassette tapes, turntables, speakers and keyboards.

Strandbeest

Truly amazing. Wind powered artificial intelligence. Designed by Dutch artist Theo Jansen, these “beests” live on the beach sand between the surf and the dunes. Once they detect either water or dry sand, they reverse direction. This “flight instinct” prevents them from drowning in the ocean or getting stuck in the sand dunes.
